Knowledge helps an agent answer company-specific questions during a call. Post-call analysis turns the finished conversation into a summary, outcome, sentiment and custom fields.

Knowledge sources

Each source is indexed separately and attached to the agent only after it reaches ready.

Indexing states

Reading the knowledge list refreshes pending states. If a source became ready but attaching it failed, Ringee retries the agent synchronization instead of requiring another upload.
Use one source per coherent topic. Several small, clearly labeled sources are easier to replace and diagnose than one large document containing unrelated material.

Built-in analysis

Analysis arrives asynchronously after the call. A terminal call can briefly have null for outcome, summary or sentiment.

Custom extraction fields

An agent can extract up to 20 custom fields.
Extracted values appear under extracted_data in the API, MCP and CLI result.

Recordings and transcripts

AI voice agent calls are recorded. Ringee also imports the transcript produced by the live conversation engine. It stores agent speech as outbound turns and the other person’s speech as inbound turns; internal tool calls are not included as spoken text. Recording and transcript recovery is best-effort and retried after the call. They appear on the corresponding Ringee call record, not inside the compact AI voice agent result.
